Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky have called it quits after being in a relationship for one year, according to exclusive reports. The couple, who began dating in September 2016 after working together on the film "Mother!," have decided to go their separate ways.

Lawrence, 27, and Aronofsky, 48, had initially been extremely private about their relationship, choosing not to make it public until they attended the Venice Film Festival together last September.

From that point, they were seen together regularly, even making a joint appearance at the New York premiere of "Mother!" where they posed for photographs on the red carpet.

Despite their significant age difference, the pair seemed to connect on a deep level during their time together. Lawrence had previously spoken about her admiration for Aronofsky's directing abilities, calling him a "brilliant visionary" and stating that she was thrilled to collaborate with him on such a challenging film.
