Brooke intends to manipulate Thomas in order to keep him away from her daughter, Hope Logan, and prevent them from marrying. In a recent episode, Brooke visited Thomas at Forrester Creations and feigned concern for him. She expressed surprise that he proposed to Hope, insinuating that he would inevitably end up heartbroken.

However, Thomas sees through Brooke's act and questions her motives. Brooke is determined to keep Thomas from getting what he wants, but Thomas is not interested in participating in her games.
