The final season of Game of Thrones was filled with controversial moments, and one aspect that raised many questions was the fate of Jon Snow. Throughout the series, Jon served as a member of the Night's Watch, defending the Wall against the Wildlings and the White Walkers. However, after joining forces with the Wildlings to fight the White Walkers, Jon found himself in a difficult position. He swore loyalty to Daenerys, but when she burned King's Landing, Jon was forced to kill her.

As punishment, he was sent back to the Night's Watch, but the finale showed him leading the Wildlings beyond the Wall.

Jon's ending created several plot holes. First of all, the decision to send him back to the Night's Watch seemed unnecessary. The Night's Watch had become redundant, as the Wildlings were no longer considered a threat and the White Walkers had been defeated.
