Country-pop superstar Shania Twain has sent a birthday message to actor Brad Pitt as he turned 60. Twain referenced her hit song "That Don't Impress Me Much" in her message, writing, "...that don't impress me much, but HBD 😘." The song includes the lyrics, "Okay, so you're Brad Pitt / That don't impress me much." Twain previously explained that the inclusion of Pitt in the song was inspired by a scandal involving nude photographs of the actor during his split from Gwyneth Paltrow.

Twain said she found the controversy unwarranted and felt that people seeing others naked was nothing special. In 2020, Twain also wished Pitt a happy birthday and jokingly wrote, "I'll make an exception for today." During a recent interview on the YouTube series "Chicken Shop Date," Twain revealed she has never actually met Pitt in person and humorously suggested that he may be avoiding her.

Despite this, her birthday shout-outs to Pitt continue to be a lighthearted and playful interaction between the two celebrities.
