DC Actress Was Offered Barbie Role Before Margot Robbie You Never Know!
The concept of producing a live-action Barbie movie was initially mentioned in 2009. Progress commenced in April 2014 when Sony Pictures acquired the film rights. However, plans took a drastic turn when the rights were transferred to Warner Bros. Pictures in October 2018.
Starting from scratch, Gal Gadot, an actress, was initially approached for the role but had to decline due to conflicts in her schedule. In an interview, Robbie praised Gadot, and Gadot reciprocated the positive sentiment.
