According to a recent article, a popular theory among fans of the Game of Thrones series suggests that the character Tyrion Lannister may in fact be a Targaryen. The theory, which has intrigued many viewers, suggests that Tyrion is not the son of Tywin Lannister, but instead the illegitimate child of the Mad King, Aerys II Targaryen, and Joanna Lannister.

This compelling theory is based on a number of key pieces of evidence.

First and foremost, it is well-known that Aerys II had a deep infatuation with Joanna and is said to have taken liberties with her on her wedding night with Tywin. This raises the possibility that Tyrion could be the product of this affair.

Additionally, there are physical characteristics that Tyrion shares with the Targaryens. For example, his unique mismatched eyes - one green and one black - are reminiscent of the Targaryen trait of having different colored eyes.
