Don Diamont, known for his role as Bill Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful, has taken on a new role in his personal life: that of a grandfather. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Diamont revealed that he learned about his impending grandfatherhood on Father's Day, when his son Alexander and daughter-in-law Audrey surprised him with the news.

Recalling the moment his son shared the news, Diamont said, "They were like, 'Your present is in there, you have to open the oven.

' I was like, 'Open the oven?!' And I open the oven and what's in the oven but a bun, a hot dog bun or something." Initially confused, Diamont quickly realized the significance of the bun in the oven. He exclaimed, "Oh, my God! And that's how we found out. It was great!"

Diamont and his wife Cindy were overjoyed with the news, both equally emotional about becoming grandparents.
