Friday, February 2nd will see Steffy Forrester and John "Finn" Finnegan teaming up with Brooke Logan, while Ridge Forrester finds himself alone in supporting Thomas Forrester and Hope Logan. RJ Forrester and Luna Nozawa's romantic evening is once again interrupted by Zende Forrester.
Steffy and Brooke are surprised to find themselves in agreement about Thomas and Hope's relationship. Brooke strongly opposes the idea of them being together, and Steffy worries about the potential harm it could cause Thomas if Hope were to reject him. Finn also sides with Brooke, admitting that although Thomas may have changed, his past actions cannot be easily forgotten.
They ponder the consequences if Hope were to reject Thomas and whether it would trigger his previous harmful behavior. Brooke firmly believes that Thomas is not suitable for her daughter and questions how far she will go to prevent the relationship.
Ridge, much like his father Eric Forrester, is outnumbered in standing by Thomas and Hope. He believes that they are adults capable of making their own choices and facing the consequences. Ridge attempts to convince everyone to see his point of view, but it appears that Hope and Thomas have garnered support from the others. Regardless, even if Thomas is not perfect, Ridge believes that Hope could do worse and that Thomas genuinely cares for her.
He hopes that Brooke will eventually come around and accept their relationship.
RJ and Luna plan a romantic dinner at the beach house, but their evening is disrupted by Zende. Zende is extremely jealous of RJ and wants to drive a wedge between him and Luna. In Zende's eyes, RJ is always favored by Ridge and Brooke and things are simply handed to him. Zende is determined to win Luna's heart and undermine RJ's career. He resents that RJ has a natural talent for design and quickly caught on in the industry. Will Zende succeed in breaking up RJ and Luna so he can have a chance with her?
