Deadpool 3 has officially wrapped filming, according to Dogpool, one of the variants of the titular hero. In an Instagram post, Dogpool expressed excitement about his MCU debut and thanked co-star Hugh Jackman, director Shawn Levy, and the crew. However, he jokingly referred to star Ryan Reynolds as "a little extra to deal with" but forgave him in the end. Reynolds also made a post on social media confirming the end of production, mentioning the challenges faced during filming.
Dogpool is just one of several variants of Deadpool set to appear in the film, including Kidpool and Lady Deadpool. The movie will also feature returning characters such as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Elektra, and Vanessa, as well as rumored cameos by Taylor Swift, Halle Berry, and Taron Egerton.
The film's reported synopsis suggests that Deadpool will retire but be forced to come out of retirement to save the world alongside Wolverine. Deadpool 3, the first R-rated MCU film, is set to release on July 26, 2024.
