Brad Pitt has emerged victorious in his ongoing legal battle against Angelina Jolie over their $500 million French vineyard, Château Miraval. The actor, 60, has been fighting in courts in both California and Luxembourg to gain a controlling interest in the vineyard after Jolie sold her shares to Yuri Shefler, owner of Russian vodka company Stoli. The couple originally purchased the estate together, with Pitt owning 60 percent and Jolie owning 40 percent. They got married at the winery in 2014, with Pitt gifting Jolie an extra 10 percent as part of their wedding. However, when they split in 2016, Jolie sold off her shares.
Pitt has argued that her deal was not valid and that he should retain 60 percent ownership. Sources claim that the Luxembourg court has ruled that Pitt will temporarily regain the extra 10 percent until a final ruling is made. As of now, Pitt maintains a 60/40 split, allowing him control of the property while the legal battle continues. Neither Pitt nor Jolie's representatives have commented on the matter.
