Christopher Nolan's film, Oppenheimer, and Greta Gerwig's Barbie have been engaged in a friendly competition ever since the Barbenheimer phenomenon at the theaters. Barbie managed to outperform Oppenheimer at the box office and received nine nominations at the 81st Golden Globe Awards. Currently, the Golden Globe Awards are underway in Beverly Hills, California. Barbie has only won two awards out of its nine nominations, whereas Oppenheimer has already won four awards as of the time of writing.
