Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine face off in behind-the-scenes photos from Deadpool 3. In images shared on Twitter by The Hollywood Handle, Jackman is seen in his classic yellow-and-blue Wolverine costume from the comic books.

 Jackman previously portrayed the character in Logan, where his character died. However, his return in Deadpool 3 won't interfere with the timeline established in Logan. In an interview, Jackman explained that his return is made possible by the Marvel world's concept of moving around timelines. He emphasized the importance of not altering the Logan timeline for himself and the fans.

 The film is directed by Shawn Levy, who previously collaborated with Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. Additional details about the plot remain unknown, but Jackman described the dynamic between Wade Wilson and Wolverine as quarrelsome. On-set images show the two superheroes having a squabble, but a synopsis suggests they will join forces to defeat a common enemy. 

 Newcomers Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen will also join the cast. Jennifer Garner will make an appearance as Elektra, reprising her role from the 2003 film Daredevil and its spinoff. The Deadpool franchise will maintain its 'R' rating under Levy's direction, ensuring the film retains its violent action scenes and raunchy humor.
