One month after Ryan Reynolds gave fans a glimpse of Dogpool in Deadpool 3, the furry superhero has shared a new image of Reynolds in makeup as Wade Wilson. The official Deadpool 3 photo, posted on Dogpool's Instagram account, shows Dogpool licking Wade Wilson's face as Wade looks mildly annoyed. The caption reads, "Looks like avocado. Tastes like dog shit." Dogpool is just one of the many versions of Deadpool that will appear in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Originally known as Mascara X in the comics, Dogpool is a member of Deadpool Corps and shares many traits with the Merc with a Mouth.

While there has been much excitement about Hugh Jackman's return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, the focus of the film remains on Deadpool. Despite the inclusion of characters like X-23 and Elektra, the events of the first two Deadpool movies will continue to be explored. The first two films were released by 20th Century Fox in 2016 and 2018.

Many familiar faces will be returning for Deadpool 3, including Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, and Rob Delaney as Peter.

Another character confirmed to appear is Sabretooth, who previously appeared in X-Men and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Set photos have revealed that Tyler Mane's version of Sabretooth will be part of an action scene where Wolverine decapitates him. Additionally, the character Toad from the original X-Men trilogy was reportedly seen on set, but it is unclear if Ray Park will be reprising the role.

Directed by Shawn Levi, Deadpool 3 is set to hit theaters on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
