At the 81st Golden Globe Awards, Margot Robbie addressed the possibility of a sequel to the highly successful film "Barbie." Despite the film's critical acclaim and commercial success, it suffered disappointing losses at the awards ceremony. However, Robbie remained evasive about any future plans for expanding the film into a franchise.

During the red carpet interview, Robbie neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of a sequel.

When asked about it, she playfully said, "You can prove me wrong. We'll see." This ambiguous response left the door open for potential sequel plans, although Robbie and director Greta Gerwig have previously stated that there are no immediate plans for a second installment. They have not completely ruled out the possibility, though.
