Ariana Grande has announced the release of her new single titled "yes, and?" on January 12, 2024. This announcement comes after she was spotted wearing a sweatshirt with the same phrase in New York City. Grande took to her Sweetener Instagram account to share the news and informed her followers that the single can be pre-saved on Spotify and Apple Music. This news aligns with her previous statement that she would be releasing new music in 2024.

In late December, Grande confirmed her plans for new music in the upcoming year. She shared a carousel of Instagram photos and videos, captioning it with "See you next year" and tagging her producer, record label, and others.

Additionally, she posted a video of her mother dancing, a screenshot of a FaceTime call where she's dancing, and a snapshot of a warehouse. She also expressed her emotions about the album, stating that she felt tired but happy and grateful.

Furthermore, Grande shared a photo of her red-tinted lips from her R.E.M. Beauty line with a handwritten note reiterating her plans for the next year. The artwork for her new single matches the photo of her red lips.

Apart from her music, Grande is also set to appear in the film adaptation of "Wicked" in November. She recently signed with Brandon Creed and his new management firm, Good World Management, after parting ways with her longtime manager Scooter Braun.

Other artists, including Demi Lovato, Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Orville Peck, Mark Ronson, and Normani, have also left Braun.
