Miley Cyrus turned 31 on a very special day: Thanksgiving!

The pop star celebrated her birthday on Thursday alongside friends and family. And the following day, mom Tish Cyrus shared a tribute to her daughter on social media.

The first photo in the post showed the mother-daughter duo posing side by side as they flashed wide smiles, while in the second, Miley could be seen lounging on a couch behind Tish, making a funny face for the camera.

"It's so hard to believe your [sic] '31' @mileycyrus not sure how time keeps flying by so quickly," wrote the proud mom, 56. "What I do know is I thank God everyday for sending you to be my 'little girl'... I could not love you more and than I do."

"And the way you love me is beyond words," she continued. "My mini me, my ride or die ... hope this year is your best yet!!!!"
