In a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Jason Priestley, best known for his role in the TV series 90210, reminisced about living with Brad Pitt in the early days of their careers. Priestley revealed that he and Pitt were roommates for a short period of time in a small apartment in a rundown area of Los Angeles. He described their living situation as three people in a two-bedroom apartment. When asked what Pitt was like as a roommate, Priestley jokingly admitted that while Pitt wasn't as bad as their other roommate, he did participate in a strange competition with them. They would see who could go the longest without showering, and Pitt often won.

Priestley mentioned this in his 2014 memoir as well, where he also discussed how they lived on a tight budget and survived on cheap food and beer. Despite their close living arrangement, Priestley admitted that he and Pitt lost touch with each other as they both found success in Hollywood. Priestley also shared a funny story from Christmas 1989 when Pitt gave him and their friends engraved Bibles as gifts, while they showed up with bottles of Jack Daniel's and cigarettes. Despite the distance that time and success have created, Priestley still cherishes the Bible gift from Pitt.
